CRP Technology has integrated vapor smoothing technology into the Windform production process, providing an industrial-grade solution that significantly improves the surface finish and durability of 3D-printed parts.

CRP Technology offers two vapor smoothing services for parts made from Windform: Direct Vapor Smoothing, which elevates the aesthetic quality of 3D parts to a near-injection-molded finish, and Expert Manual Finishing + Professional Vapor Smoothing, delivering flawless surfaces with an even higher level of precision. For applications requiring painted parts, vapor smoothing often eliminates the need for additional coatings, resulting in significant cost and weight savings.

This process delivers smooth, water-resistant finishes even on undercuts and internal sections difficult to reach while maintaining accuracy and ensuring minimal lead times. By surrounding the entire part in vapor, it can smooth out areas and internal features that are difficult to access manually, without risking damage to fragile structures.
