The Generative Orthoses project in Windform GT, developed by MHOX, the 3D printing service CRP Technology, and Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli (IOR), is one of the 69 winning projects of the WORTH Partnership Project II 3rd Call. Thanks to this recognition, the project participated in the WORTH Partnership Project Exhibition, which took place from April 8 to 13, 2025, at ZONA K during Milan Design Week.

The exhibition was created with the aim of celebrating and showcasing the distinctive characteristics of WORTH (bringing together designers, artisans, and European SMEs to create innovative projects that embody sustainability and creativity, integrating next-generation technologies and materials, and promoting projects that push the boundaries of modern design). The Generative Orthoses in Windform GT perfectly embody these principles, pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing applied to the medical and orthopedic device sectors.

This glass fiber-reinforced material offers superior strength-to-weight ratios and outstanding dimensional stability, ensuring that orthotic devices remain both lightweight and durable, while also being suitable for direct contact with the skin, as it is a skin-proof material.
These advanced material properties, combined with biomimetic design and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, enable the Generative Orthoses project to deliver devices that not only provide support and postural correction, but also enhance comfort and functionality. Windform GT ensures that these orthoses are not only effective but also durable, helping to set a new standard in orthotic care.

The event was organized by the European Union's COSME Programme, with a new location in collaboration with Isola Design.
